Vegan Breakfast Smoothie! avocado, spinach, walnut & mango smoothie with frozen mango chunks.

Prepping for an elimination diet, so dairy and bananas will be out for awhile. Testing dairy free smoothies and options, and this one was pretty good! I froze the almond milk and avocado: not all the way, but for an hour or so. Helped with texture: i like creamy. I put them in my blender and put the blender in the freezer. Lazy like that. :)

Blue-Nan Re-Group Smoothie
Getting my appetit back! Re-fueling the bod. Healing starts with good nutrition, and I’ve been lacking in that department since I’ve been sick. Drinking my greens is an easier task than eating them, so hitting up the juicing and smoothies the last two days. Finally have a smidge of energy back. :)
I did yogurt here, but almond milk (or whatever you use) is fine. Freezing your fruit (and/or spinach) ahead of time helps the texture tons. Mangos also make great banana replacements, but you can use any fruit you like. PLAY! :

Warm Banana Spice Smoothies
Have you ever tried a “warm” smoothie? It’s fantastic for this time of year! While I usually go for apple (apple pie smoothies are my kryptonite), thought I’d give banana a go! Added ginger too for an immune system boost.
Ingredients
Ingredients
- 1 cup raw spinach
- 1 large mango, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup unsweetened apple juice
- 1 medium banana
- 3/4 inch slice of tofu (1/4 block) or, 1/2 cup cooked quinoa
- 1 cup brewed green tea (brew the night before and store in fridge so it’s cold and ready to go)
- 1/2 inch slice of fresh ginger, peeled (optional)
Matching my smoothie to my surroundings. Life’s little pleasures. :)
I know it’s weird, but it thrills me beyond reason when I get it just right. :)

Spinach gave it the green hue, and the rest is yogurt, banana, mango and pineapple with a scoop of protein powder.

Green smoothies make me giddy! Spinach, banana, mango, yogurt, ice. No frills treat.
Just sitting around. Drinking magic, lol.
That moment you realize your smoothie is delicious… AND it matches your bedroom. Ahhhh…

BLUEMAN ‘NANA SMOOTHIE
1/2 cup blueberries
1/2 a mango
1/2 a banana (or a small one)
1 scoop of vanilla hemp protein powder
Water to blend (I freeze my fruit so no need for ice).Heaven. :)

Best with frozen cherries (they take just over an hour to freeze on a cookie sheet if you’re in a pinch.
Ingredients
Blend all ingredients together (maybe save a frozen cherry for garnish). Serve.
