Ahhhhh, the Sugar-free Strawberry Daiquiri. Can there be anything more divine?

While it’s the perfect after work treat, to control what’s in it I suggest you make this one at home! All you need is a blender (or a magic bullet) and a really pretty glass. Remember, if you’re still in weight-loss mode pair this with lots of water and don’t overdo it. Low calorie treats are still treats, especially with booze!

Without the rum, this treat is about 26 calories a serving.

Summer Cocktail Series

Sugar-free Strawberry Daiquiri

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup sliced strawberries
  • 1 Tablespoon lime juice
  • I jigger rum (1.5 oz)
  • Low calorie sweetener to taste (agave & stevia work well)
  • Small handful of ice (not needed if berries are frozen)

Blend well & enjoy your drink sassy ladies!

Nutrition Info: Each serving has 5 grams effective carbohydrate plus 2 grams fiber, and 125 calories.

Tips

  • To make it a little fizzy, use frozen strawberries & add a shot or two of club soda (instead of ice) before blending. Same if you don’t add rum.

  • More strawberries will increase the carbohydrate & calorie count.
  • You can substitute lime for lemon juice.
