Not only do mason jar salads look gorgeous, they can help keep your salads fresh longer… something that’s awesome if you’re doing food prep for the week on the weekend (or on a Monday). Adding lemon juice to ingredients prone to browning can help keep them fresher (apples, avocados etc).
She claims hers last up to 5 days. Mine tapped out at 3-4, but my ingredients were already pretty ripe when I chopped them. :)
