Just a thought for today.

It’s one of life’s lesson’s that many people (not everyone sadly) learns as they get older: what other people think of you does NOT define who you are. Their opinions, their thoughts and even their beliefs about who you are as a person, is filtered through their own sense of self, their fears, their insecurities & their own sense of worth. We honestly don’t put others down unless we’re trying to lift ourselves up in some way, especially when we’re hurting inside.

How other people feel about YOU is between them and their self-esteem. You don’t need their approval, and the sooner you start repeating that to yourself, the easier life gets and the more open you will be to letting in people who love you just as you are.

Repeat this next time you feel anything less than amazing. :)
